Zhongtian Green Premium Steel Project Rolling Project Fully Put into Production

At 9:28 on August 8, the No. 6 fine bar of the Zhongtian Green Premium Steel Project Rolling Project successfully passed the line, and the trial production was a complete success. This is the fourth bar production line that has been put into production as scheduled after the No. 8 bar on April 4, the No. 5 bar on May 5, and the No. 7 bar on June 30, all passed the line smoothly at one time. It also marks that the Zhongtian Green Premium Steel Project Rolling Project, with the best international technology and the highest production capacity, which was constructed by MCC Huatian, has been fully put into production.

The Zhongtian Green Premium Steel Project is located on the shore of Tongzhou Bay, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, east of the Yangtze River and on the coast of the Yellow Sea. It is a key demonstration project for Jiangsu Province to implement the Yangtze River protection strategy and promote the transfer of steel production capacity from the riverside to the coast. It is also a leading project for the Nantong Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to promote the construction of "Greater Tongzhou Bay" and build a strong fulcrum city in the core triangle of the Yangtze River Delta integration of Shanghai, Jiangsu and Tongzhou. The steel rolling project constructed by MCC Huatian is composed of four fine slit bar production lines with the best international technical level. The annual output of hot-rolled threaded steel bars with a diameter of 16 to 40 mm is 1.89 million tons, and the total production capacity is 7.56 million tons, which is the highest output bar production line in the world.

The steel rolling project of Zhongtian Green Fine Steel Project was awarded in June 2020 and started construction on March 28, 2021. The project adopts advanced equipment and green process technologies such as environmentally friendly intelligent combustion regenerative heating furnace, HT type high-rigidity short stress line rolling mill, intelligent low-temperature controlled rolling and controlled cooling technology, and intelligent finishing collection, leading the domestic bar and wire technology trend; the intelligent and information technology is deeply combined with the rolling process technology, and the intelligent control platform of the rolling line has comprehensively improved the digitalization and intelligence level of steel rolling, and has ingeniously created an industry-leading intelligent manufacturing system. Among them, the 28 mm diameter threaded steel is the first to realize double-slit rolling, and the No. 5 bar hot test is the first domestic fine bar and wire that adopts the three-slit rolling process and passes the steel successfully in one time.
